What to Expect on Fitting Day

On the installation day of either a fireplace, stove or gas fire a certain amount of disturbance to the room in question is unavoidable. We do everything we can to minimise disruption and that the installation runs as smoothly as possible.

What we need you to do

- roll back the carpet
- remove any surrounding pictures and ornaments
- cover your furniture

We also use our own covers for any furniture left in the room but a double protection is recommended. If the television is to be left in the room then it should be covered and the screen turned away from the area of work. Any area that will be subject to foot traffic will be protected by dust sheets. Access to a dry storage area or a garage will be required if there is any hint of rain. We will need water and power and we do ask that you allow parking for 2 vans if possible.

It may be necessary for us to remove a certain amount of skirting board, however, as we are not carpenters unfortunately we cannot replace this but we do carry the numbers of a couple of reputable carpenters should you require them.
